The film explores various parallel worlds: Second Life, robotics, virtual girlfriends, chinese factories producing virtual money, and ends up in Japan, a country in the forefront when it comes to escapes from reality The Japanese phenomenon of Hikikomori – young reclusive boys and girls who have chosen to withdraw from social life – makes us wonder why we keep on escaping from our world right now while it becomes more and more perfect.
